Video Production for HealthTech & Clinical Software

Clinical software is sold to people who are mid-shift and cannot afford a tool that slows them down. We produce the walkthroughs and per-feature training videos that show a real clinical workflow completed end to end — captured from anonymised or dummy records, under NDA, with no real patient data in any frame — and AI-animated films that tell the clinical story with generated characters instead of real patients. CloudRx's AI-animated promo is its default first touch for new clinics.

Studio demoDigital prescription, end to end — dummy dataWatch

The buyer is a clinician between patients, and the risk is not features

A doctor evaluating prescription software is not comparing feature matrices; they are estimating how much time the new system will cost them per patient and how badly it will go if it fails during a consultation. That estimate gets made in seconds, from whatever they can see. Meanwhile the purchase is usually decided by someone else — a practice manager, a clinic owner, an IT lead — who is asking a different set of questions about records, access, and what happens to the data. So one asset has to satisfy a sceptical end user and a cautious buyer at once. On top of that, the material that would demonstrate the product best is the material you are least free to show: real charts, real prescriptions, real names. Most vendors resolve this by filming nothing and writing more copy, which convinces neither audience.

What we make for HealthTech teams.

An AI-animated promo, or a walkthrough at real speed

There are two honest ways to show a clinical product working. For CloudRx we made a 62-second AI-animated promo: stylised doctors, clinic staff and patients carry a before-and-after story — handwritten paperwork, then digital prescribing, connected clinics, patient follow-ups and OCR — so the film is warm and specific without filming a clinic or showing a single real record. When a buyer needs proof of speed instead, we build a walkthrough around one representative task performed at the system's actual pace: no cuts that hide waiting, no invented stopwatch.

Modular training videos, one per task

Clinics onboard staff continuously and rarely in a room together. Splitting training into short single-task videos — appointment booking, patient files, multi-chamber setup — means a practice manager sends the one clip a new receptionist needs instead of booking a live session for every feature. CloudRx's support team uses its modular set exactly that way, pointing users at a short clip rather than repeating the same onboarding call.

Explainer graphics for the parts with no interface

Some of what makes clinical software trustworthy has nothing to show on screen: a drug database lookup, a diagnosis-code standard, an integration between a clinic system and a pharmacy. We build animated explainers for those — the DGDA drug database and diagnosis-code lookup in the CloudRx set are examples — so the mechanism becomes visible without pretending a database query is a screen.

Outreach creative for clinics and conferences

Health software is still sold in person: clinic visits, association events, exhibition stands. We produce the display and social creative that supports that — short silent loops that work on a stand with no audio, banner sets for clinic outreach, and cutdowns a rep can send after a visit. These are built from the same walkthrough, so the thing a clinic sees on a stand matches what they are shown at the demo.

What's different here.

The constraints that change how the work has to be made for this buyer — not a generic process with the industry name swapped in.

How we handle patient data

We sign an NDA before receiving any access, and we capture from anonymised or dummy records supplied or generated for the shoot. Real patient data never appears in a demo capture, a working file, or a delivered frame. This is our working practice, stated plainly — it is not a certification, and we do not claim HIPAA or any other regulatory accreditation. If your compliance team needs specific handling terms in writing, ask before kickoff and we will agree them there.

Accuracy is a review step, not a proofread

Dosages, codes, field labels, and clinical sequence have to be right, and a marketing writer is not the person to sign that off. We build a clinical review round into the schedule: a named person on your side approves the script and then the near-final cut for accuracy, separately from the usual creative revisions. Anything we are unsure of gets flagged rather than smoothed over.

Two audiences, and they need different lengths

The clinician wants to see the task done fast. The buyer wants to know about records, access, and support. Trying to answer both in one video produces something too long for the first and too shallow for the second, so we usually separate them: a short workflow demo for the practitioner, and a longer walkthrough or a set of focused clips for whoever signs.

Claims we will not make on your behalf

No outcome statistics, no efficacy language, no invented time savings, and no compliance badges. If a number is going into a video, it has to be one you can evidence and are willing to stand behind in the same sentence. Where a claim cannot be supported, we show the workflow instead and let the viewer draw the conclusion — which is more convincing anyway.

The work.

Services HealthTech teams buy most.

Where HealthTech teams usually start.

Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed schedule. How the turnaround clock works.

HealthTech video questions.

We sign an NDA before receiving access, and we capture from anonymised or dummy records only — supplied by you or generated for the shoot. Real patient data never appears in a capture, a project file, or a delivered frame. To be explicit: that is our working practice, not a certification. We do not claim HIPAA or any other regulatory accreditation, and we will not put a compliance badge in your video.

Yes. An NDA is standard for this work, and NDA-protected workflow is part of our contractual engagement terms. If your team needs specific handling conditions — a dedicated demo tenant, restricted credentials, deletion of working files after delivery, named individuals only — raise them before kickoff so they can be agreed in writing rather than negotiated mid-production.

You do, and we schedule it. A named person on your side signs off the script and then the near-final cut specifically for accuracy — dosages, codes, field labels, and the order of the workflow — separately from the normal creative revision rounds. We flag anything we are unsure of rather than guessing, because a plausible-looking error in a clinical demo is worse than an obvious one.

Usually both, and they are different jobs. One workflow walkthrough shows a complete task at real speed and does the convincing. A modular training set — one short video per feature — does the onboarding, and it is what lets support answer with a link instead of a call. CloudRx runs exactly this split: an AI-animated promo for the first touch, plus one short video per core feature for onboarding.

A fixed-price package runs 3 to 14 days for the whole kit, and the clinical review round sits inside that schedule — so book the reviewer early. A custom-scoped one-off project runs 7 to 10 days. On the monthly retainer, a single request averages about 48 hours, which suits teams adding one training clip at a time after the main set exists.

Yes, and it solves the hardest problem in this category: you can show doctors, staff and patients without filming real people or exposing a single real record. CloudRx's 62-second promo was produced entirely with AI animation, with stylised characters telling the before-and-after story of digital prescribing. The same rules still apply as for any clinical video — a named person on your side reviews it for accuracy, and it makes no efficacy, outcome or compliance claims you cannot evidence.

Yes, from Figma screens or a clickable prototype, built as abstracted UI rather than pixel-exact capture. It carries your layout logic and brand colours without claiming to be a screenshot of a shipped system, and it stays accurate across the releases that follow. We will not, however, animate a workflow the product does not perform — a demo of a feature that does not exist is a claim, not a preview.
